Studio 3 – Where History and Innovation Meet.
Immerse yourself in the legendary world of Studio 3 at Dierks Studios, where musical history and innovation combine to create a unique space that has shaped the sound of entire generations. Studio 3 is much more than just a recording studio – it’s a treasure trove of musical heritage. Iconic albums by the Scorpions, among others, were created here, and Herman Rarebell’s powerful drum sound was perfected down to the smallest detail in all-night sessions.
The control room in Studio 3 is every tech enthusiast’s dream. Equipped with a wealth of industry-leading gear, it was designed to record and mix sound with the highest precision and creative freedom. Each component has been carefully selected to ensure that artists and producers can get the best out of every session – from detailed recordings to complex mixes.
The recording room of Studio III is a truly legendary place. Many international artists have recorded their tracks here – full of magic – and utilized the extraordinary acoustics of this room to create music of lasting value. With an area of over 120 square meters and a ceiling height of 5.50 meters, its sophisticated acoustics became the birthplace of many innovative hits. The unique sonic character of the room is based, among other things, on its innovative acoustics. The room’s acoustics can also be dynamically adjusted: heavy molton curtains and various acoustic dividers make it possible to change the sound freely as needed. If the room is completely darkened, a tight, dry sound is created; when opened, however, reverberation and echo unfold, acoustically enriching the space. This fabled room is large enough to record entire rock bands, small orchestras, or even showcases with an audience, and in every session, it combines unparalleled versatility with musical history.
